I hold a Master’s degree in English Language and Linguistics, complemented by professional training and certification in TESOL/TEFL. I have 12 years of experience teaching English Language and Linguistics, 4 of which is at university level, with expertise in areas including Phonetics, Morphology, Syntax, Semantics and Discourse Analysis. My academic experience also encompasses curriculum development, assessment and examination, student mentorship, and the development of teaching and learning materials. I have a strong interest in applied linguistics, language pedagogy, educational technology, and the integration of emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, into teaching, learning, and academic practice. I am particularly committed to learner-centred pedagogy, academic excellence, and creating interactive learning environments that support students’ intellectual and professional development.

I am currently the Coordinator of the School of Education, Arts and Social Sciences, where I provide academic and administrative leadership in coordinating teaching, assessment, student support, curriculum implementation, and other departmental activities. My professional experience spans university teaching, academic administration, curriculum development, quality assurance, examination moderation, report writing, stakeholder engagement, and capacity building. I have also undertaken editorial and language-related assignments involving copy editing, proofreading, linguistic analysis, and quality evaluation of educational content
