Dr. Wairimu is a Literature scholar and educator with experience in university and secondary school teaching. She currently serves as a Literature part-time Lecturer at Zetech University and Karatina University. She also supervises postgraduate research at Mount Kenya University. Her academic experience encompasses undergraduate teaching, research supervision, curriculum implementation, assessment, examination development and moderation, teaching practice supervision, and student mentorship. She holds a PhD in Literature in English (2025), a Master of Arts in English Literature (2022), and a Bachelor of Education (Arts).
Dr. Wairimu has extensive professional experience in education, academic leadership, research mentorship, curriculum delivery, and learner development. At Zetech University, she teaches and assesses undergraduate Literature courses, supervises teaching practice, supports examination processes, mentors students, and integrates digital learning platforms into teaching and assessment. She has demonstrated a strong commitment to learner-centred pedagogy, academic achievement, student welfare, and co-curricular development. Her professional interests also extend to curriculum development, academic writing, creative writing, editing, student mentorship, and the integration of technology into education. She has experience using digital platforms including KENET, Respondus, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom to support blended and interactive learning
