Henry Kiogora is a passionate lecturer in the field of procurement. Being professionally trained as a teacher and with a lot of experience serving in educational services industry, Kiogora is currently serving as the head of school of Business and Economics in Zetech University with a goal of climbing the academic ladder to become a Vice chancellor one day.

Responsibilities:
- To receive all newly registered students in the department.
- Ensuring that all students in the department are doing the right courses
- To advise different offices in areas that are relevant to them in regard to his/her department for instance marketing
- To come up with new innovative ways in which to position and grow his/her department e.g. development of new short/long term programs.
- To table, follow up, and implement proposals on the following critical areas; customer service, staff motivation and development, quality standards, revenue collection, growth of student numbers, business development focusing on new programs and reengineering of existing ones
- Carry out regular internal marketing to the existing students.
- To clear students after they finish their courses.
- Work with AQA to run the lecturer evaluation process
- Monitor and ensure that courses meet the Break-even point
- Ensure daily attendance of lectures by both faculty and students
- Document the program development and evaluation process in the department
- Ensure members in the department carry out their responsibilities as per the training rules, exams rules and regulations, student governance framework and any other rules and regulations as may be passed as binding to them from time to time.
- Monitor class attendance and effective teaching by lecturers
- Participate and approve all student admissions into various programs in the department.
- Ensure all departmental staff/ students are well oriented on matters pertaining to the university, department, programs, and policies.
- Ensure students in the department are informed and register for units and examinations on time.
- To ensure that the academic timetable for all programs in the department is in place before the commencement of classes and that it is followed accordingly
- Ensure the department provides quality training services to the students. This should be through attending to the students needs on time either in/out the lecture rooms. Provide training resources to the instructors and students when required
- Ensure the students learn application of what they learn in theory. This includes liaising with the relevant offices to organize for academic tours and attachments for the students,
- Enforce and Implement of the training policies and any other policy that governs both students/staff.
- Put in place measures to ensure class attendance monitoring for both staff and students, syllabus coverage
- Ensure the faculty/department sets and moderates, and submits draft exams on time.
- Ensure proper administration of examinations in liaison with the Examinations Office.
- Ensure timely submission of marked scripts, mark sheets, and moderated examination results to the Examinations Officer in charge.
